Peoples Congress: Chen Zhongwei is the deputy governor of Jiangsu Province

On July 31, the 10th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th People's Congress of Jiangsu Province approved: Chen Zhongwei appointed Chen Zhongwei as the deputy governor of the Provincial People's Government.

The official resume shows that Chen Zhongwei, male, Han nationality, born in June 1969, graduate student of the Provincial Party School, member of the Communist Party of China, current vice governor, member of the provincial government party group, and secretary of the Suqian Municipal Party Committee.

He has served as deputy director and member of the party group of Jiangsu Province and a member of the party group, and a member of the party group of Jiangsu Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau.

In February 2018, Chen Zhongwei served as the director and party secretary of the Jiangsu Safety Production Supervision and Administration Bureau, and later served as the director of the Jiangsu Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau and secretary of the party group.After the institutional reform, he served as the director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Emergency Management.

In December 2020, Chen Zhongwei served as Deputy Secretary and Mayor of the Suqian Municipal Party Committee. In January 2021, he was elected as the mayor. In March 2023, he served as the secretary of the Suqian Municipal Party Committee.
