The 20th Shangri -La dialogue will be held in Singapore from June 2nd to 4th.In a statement written to the Wall Street Journal, the Pentagon said that the US Department of Defense invited Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Defense Li Shangfu in early May to meet with the US Defense Chief Austin in Singapore. "China has rejected our invitation on Sunday evening."
