The US Department of Justice was accused of illegally serving as the Chinese government's agent and monitoring Chinese democratic activities on Wednesday (August 21) alleging.
According to Reuters, the U.S. Department of Justice accused Tang Yuanyu, 67, as a Chinese specialist under the instructions of the Chinese Ministry of National Security from 2018 to 2023.
The U.S. Department of Justice said that Tang Yuanzhang provided information from the intelligence official of the Ministry of National Security of China with information that China was regarded as a personal and group that may harm its interests, including well -known people in the United States.The Ministry of National Security sneaked into many crypto communication applications used by many people in China.
Tang Yuanyu was also accused of making false statements to the Federal Investigation Agency, claiming that it was unable to log in to an email account used to communicate with relevant personnel of the Ministry of National Security.
Tang Yuanzhang was a Chinese citizen, seeking political asylum in the United States, and later became American citizens.
