Japanese company Konica Miner's factory in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China will be discontinued in the first half of next year.

Comprehensive news reports from Kyodo News Agency and Interface, Konica Minerdona announced on Tuesday (August 20) that it is planned to end the first half of 2025.In production activities, related businesses have been transferred to Japan, Malaysia and Dongguan base.

The subsidiary has 1,381 employees at the end of March this year. As the production is over, the contract will be lifted.

Konica Miner said that this move is to cope with the reduction of the office equipment market, adjust the production system in Asia, and strive to improve profitability.

The operation environment of the office equipment such as composite aircraft was severely affected, and Konica Meta had announced that by the end of March 2025, about 2,400 people were layoffs.
