Hong Kong Chief Executive Li Jiachao met with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Chen Liuguang, which was visited in the Ya'an country, and the two sides signed eight cooperation memorandums after the meeting.
Comprehensive Sing Tao Daily reported that this week, he led a delegation to visit the Lijiachao of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam on Thursday (August 1) in the morning with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Chen Liuguang.
Li Jiachao said at the meeting that Hong Kong and Vietnam were important economic partners.Hong Kong is now trying to fight for the economy and seek development. The Hong Kong Government attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with Vietnam, hoping that the two places will launch more in -depth cooperation.
He said that Vietnam's economic growth is impressive, creating sufficient business and investment opportunities for foreign companies including Hong Kong, and emphasized that Hong Kong business community has a strong interest in Vietnam's opportunities.
Li Jiachao said that Hong Kong is an ideal place for listing and other fund -raising activities. It can become the primary business partner of Vietnam through high -quality financial, legal and professional services.He believes that there can be many opportunities to explore cooperation between Hong Kong and Vietnam, and encourage Vietnamese companies to continue to communicate and discuss business cooperation with Hong Kong companies.
He also hopes that Vietnam can support Hong Kong to join the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP). I believe that Hong Kong has a closer economic connection with Vietnam after joining.
After the meeting, Hong Kong and Vietnam jointly signed eight memorandums of cooperation, involving finance, trade, investment and aviation.
It is reported that the Li family will meet with Vietnamese President Su Lin and the Chinese ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo on Thursday afternoon.And return to Hong Kong in the evening on Friday (2nd).
