BYD announced the above news on Weibo on Weibo on Wednesday (December 27).
BYD also became the first car company to get a native autonomous driving (L3) test sign in China.
BYD said that the acquisition of the test cards of the conditional autonomous driving (L3) testing cards needs to be detected by the relevant institutions recognized by the state, and combined with traffic safety control, road opening conditions, road section traffic bearing capacityPerform comprehensive reviews of experts.
According to the grading standards, L2 and L3 can be regarded as the watershed of the intelligent driving level of the car.The level of L2 and the following emphasizes the auxiliary functions, while the L3 stage can perform some functional decisions under restrictions.
However, BYD said that only by reaching the L5 level can it truly realize completely unmanned driving without limited conditions. At present, it is too early to talk about this concept.
