Mi Feng said that the recent cold wave weather has a wide range of influences and a large cooling. It is necessary to increase the speed of medical emergency response, strengthen outpatient emergency medical forces, especially night emergency medical forces, and meet the needs of the masses.
Mi Feng also revealed that as of now, the wounded in the Gansu and Qinghai earthquake -stricken areas have been timely and effective treatment, and normal diagnosis and treatment services in the disaster area have been restored.
He said that the National Health Commission will continue to do a good job of monitoring and risk assessment of infectious diseases, carry out sanitary epidemic prevention work such as drinking water monitoring, environmental elimination and disinfecting to ensure that there is no major epidemic after disaster.
