Nearly 10 hours after an earthquake in Jishi Mountain, Gansu, China, a magnitude 5.5 earthquake occurred in the morning of Tuesday (December 19), which is located in Auus, Kizilu Suzhou, northwest of China. There is currently no case of casualties.
According to the Chinese official media Xinhua News Agency, the earthquake time is 9:46 am on Tuesday, the depth of the earthquake is 10 kilometers, and the epicenter is located in a mountainous area of about 1,400 meters above sea level, with 38 kilometers from the nearest village.
Kizilu Suzhou is located in the southwestern part of Xinjiang, and the city of the state is about 1,500 kilometers from Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang.
The official website of the Xinjiang Earthquake Administration showed that six earthquakes occurred within two hours on November 8th, of which five earthquakes were located at Aush City with a maximum level of 5.4.
Chen Huizhong, former researcher at the Institute of Earthquake Forecast of the China Earthquake Administration, analyzed that there is a small population in Abutus and often occurred above 5 earthquakes. It is not on the same structure belt as Jishi Mountain in Gansu.There should be no connection.
