The chip industry journal Semianalysis reported this month that the AI chip giant headquartered in California is expected to launch new products as early as November 16.However, the two people familiar with the matter said that Nvidia had informed Chinese customers that the listing time of this product is expected to be postponed to the first quarter of next year.This may lead to the battle for the Chinese market share of Nvidia and Huawei, which has become more complicated.
The chip launching this time is H20. It is the strongest of Nvidia's three chips developed for the Chinese market in order to abide by the latest US export restrictions.One of the people familiar with the matter also revealed that the listing time of the new product may even be postponed until February or March next year, because the server manufacturer encounters problems in integrated chips.
