WeChat payment is one of the two major electronic payment platforms in China. Another platform Alipay has also allowed overseas users to bind international credit cards in China for cashless payment.

WeChat Pay began in November 2019. After supporting overseas users to bind international credit cards, some pilot merchants consume, such as the China Railway 12306 ticket purchase platform, Didi Chuxing, JD.com, Ctrip, etc.
