Indian media reports that India will ban more than 230 gambling and borrowing applications related to China.

According to Indian Asian International News (ANI) Sunday (February 5), government sources reported that the affected applications were 138 gambling applications and 94 lending applications.

Sources said that the Indian Ministry of the Interior suggested that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology prohibit these applications.

These applications are accused of data containing harm to Indian sovereignty and integrity.

India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and the Ministry of the Interior have not yet responded to Reuters' review requests.

Reuters reported that the political situation of China and India became nervous after the border conflict in 2020.Since then, India has banned popular Chinese applications such as Tiktok and WeChat.
