After the nearby residents expressed their concerns, privacy was violated, and the Chinese Embassy in Portugal's capital Lisbon was removed or reset or reorganized multiple closed -circuit TVs that had been installed before.

Reuters quoted a local anonymous resident report last December that three 360 -degree CCTVs were installed two months ago near the embassy. They were worried that these equipment might shoot nearby houses and roads.

After talking to another five local residents this month, they also expressed their concerns about the above equipment or photographed nearby houses.

The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday (18th) that they have asked relevant departments to analyze whether the CCTV is in compliance with the regulations.According to local laws, CCTV cannot point to property or public channels, and "can only shoot the channel to the property."

After Reuters reported out of the street, the Chinese Embassy in Portugal removed one of the closed -circuit TVs, and the other two no longer pointed to the outside of the embassy.Complaints are related.

The Chinese Embassy in Portugal will not comment. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not immediately respond to Reuters' comment requests.
