According to the US Embassy in Indonesia, the scope and scale of this military exercise is expected to be significantly larger than in previous years. Canada, France, India, South Korea and other countries will also participate as observer countries.

Japan will also provide a loan of 43.6 billion yen (about 442 million yuan) to the Indonesian government for infrastructure projects and disaster prevention.

The two countries agree to revise the India Economic Partner Agreement

Zokko confirmed that the two countries in India agreed to revise the Indonesian -Japanese economic partner agreement, and the revised version of the agreement will be signed during the 20th G20 (G20) summit held in November.

Zoko requires Japan to reduce or cancel tariffs on some products such as tuna, bananas, and yellow pears in Indonesia, and allow Indonesian mango products to enter the Japanese market.

According to data from the International Monetary Fund, in 2020, Indonesia's total imports from Japan were US $ 9.2 billion (about S $ 12.7 billion), and the total exports to Japan were US $ 14.5 billion.

Zoko also welcomed the strategic infrastructure projects of the two countries, and asked Japan to accelerate the completion of these projects, including the Jakarta Metro Project, the Westbabia Industrial Project, and the Patimban port of West Java.
