(Morning News) The Sudan Transitional Prime Minister Ham Duk announced his resignation on Sunday (2nd).

Xinhua News Agency reported that Ham Duk gave a speech on the official TV station that day that he has tried his best to "prevent the country from slipping into disaster."The conflict between military and cultural components during the division and transition of political forces made it difficult for all parties to reach a consensus.He decided to resign from the post of prime minister and provide others with an opportunity to help the country complete the transition process.

Ham Duk said that a round table meeting is needed to formulate a new agreement for the Sudan political transition.

In the past few days, protests broke out in Sudan, and some demonstrators opposed the agreement reached by the military and Ham Duk.The demonstrators conflicted with the police, causing multiple people and injuries.

In April 2019, the Sudan military overturned the Bahil regime and established the Capital Military Commission to take charge of national affairs.In August of the same year, the Sudan transition government and the sovereign committee composed of military representatives and civilian representatives were established, and the military general Burhan was the chairman of the sovereignty committee.In October 2021, the Sudan military announced that the state entered an emergency, dissolved the sovereignty committee and the transition government.

On November 11, 2021, the Bulhan issued a constitutional law and announced the establishment of a transition sovereignty committee as the chairman of the committee.On the 21st of the same month, Boolem signed a political declaration with Ham Duk, who was previously fired, including re -appointing Ham Duk as the Prime Minister of the Cross Government. Ham Duk would form an independent cabinet consisting of technical officials.
