The national security cases with the largest number of people involved in Hong Kong have made progress.According to a ruling made by the Hong Kong High Court on Thursday (May 30), of the 16 of the 16 defendants, except for the two of them, the remaining 14 defendants were guilty.

It is reported that among the 16 people, the charges of Li Yuxin and Liu Weicong were not established, and the remaining 14 were crimes.The prosecution intends to apply for an appeal on the two of them. At this stage, the two apply for two people to continue the bail with existing conditions.

After the court previously ruled that after all the 16 people were established, 10 people decided to debate in court, including He Guilan, Chen Zhiquan, Liu Weicong, Zou Jiacheng, Li Yuxin, Schid Lai, He Qiming, Zheng Dahong, Peng Zhuoqi and Yu Huiming MingEssence

The remaining six, including Liang Guoxiong, Huang Biyun, Lin Zhuoting, Ke Yaolin, Wu Zhengheng, and Yang Xueying, they chose not to debate.

According to the "crime of subverting the state power" of the Hong Kong National Security Law, the primary elements or major crimes are imprisoned for at least 10 years, and the maximum can be sentenced to life imprisonment.
