The first batch of 38 students from the Greater Bay Area Youth Airlines Internship Program arrived in Hong Kong on Friday (May 12), and will be trained for 50 weeks.

Lin Shixiong introduced that the first 38 students under the plan were from 19 to 21, all from Guangdong Science and Technology Vocational College in Zhuhai.They are all studying in the air waiter, and they have mastered the basic knowledge and skills of the aviation industry.They will stay in Hong Kong to receive 50 weeks of classroom training and go to different posts in the airport to learn to go through the airport operation processes related to passengers such as boarding procedures, pick -up and boarding services.
He said that there were 450 in the first year of the internship plan.The academy responsible for holding this internship plan has contacted a number of aviation training provided by the mainland.They also expressed welcome and support for the internship plan.An interns in another college in Guangdong Province is expected to arrive in Hong Kong in the third quarter. In the future, more mainland students can go to Hong Kong International Airport through the internship plan to observe and learn.
Lin Shixiong said that as of the end of last year, the Academy of Aviation has provided more than 1,200 employees from mainland airports, providing courses and job training related to the operation and management of passenger transportation buildings and flight areas.
