There are two cities in Fujian to rank among the top 20. Among them, Fuzhou, Quanzhou and Xi'an have risen two. From the 18th Fuzhou to the 21st Hefei, the total economic gap is small. Therefore, the rankings of these cities have changed frequently; from the 22nd Xi'an to the 24th Dongguan, there are similar situations.

Compared to the top 30 cities, the top and downstream cities in the top 100 have changed a lot. This is because the gap between these cities is smaller. In the case of a small base, that is, the total economic aggregate is small, some prefecture -level cities have greatly improved their rankings with their energy prices or some major projects.

Lin Boqiang, Dean of the China Energy Policy Research Institute of Xiamen University, analyzed that the current economic growth of cities with outstanding energy development is very fast and the momentum is very good, but it must also be transformed early. When the industrial supply chain is repaired, energy prices will decline. Therefore, these areas should now speed up the transformation, accelerate industrial diversification, and increase the ability to resist risks.
