According to the Hubei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection: Sheng Wenjun, Secretary of the Qianjiang Municipal Party Committee, is suspected of serious disciplinary violations and actively investing in the case. He is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Hubei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.

Sheng Wenjun, male, Han nationality, born in December 1969, was born in Changsha, Hunan, joined the work in July 1988, joined the Communist Party of China in July 1993, and academic degree in the Central Party School.

Sheng Wenjun has worked in Jiayu County, Hubei Province for many years. In 2003, he served as the Standing Committee of the Chibi Municipal Party Committee and the chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions.

In 2009, Sheng Wenjun served as member of the Standing Committee of the Chibi Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, and Director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau.

In 2013, Sheng Wenjun served as Deputy Secretary -General of Xianning City Government, and also served as Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Xianning Hot Spring Tourism Ecological New City.In October, he served as secretary and chairman of the party committee and chairman of Xianning City Development (Group) Co., Ltd.

In 2016, Sheng Wenjun served as the head of Xian'an District, Xianning City, and was transferred to the mayor of Chibi in 2017. In 2018, he was the secretary of the Chibi Municipal Party Committee.

In December 2020, Sheng Wenjun served as a member of the Standing Committee of Xianning Municipal Party Committee and continued to serve as secretary of the Chibi Municipal Party Committee.

In June 2021, Sheng Wenjun was awarded the title of "National Outstanding County Party Committee Secretary". In July of the same year, he was transferred to the Deputy Secretary of the Qianjiang Municipal Party Committee and the mayor.

On July 23, 2023, Sheng Wenjun served as the secretary of the Qianjiang Municipal Party Committee. One year after the secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, he took the initiative to vote.

Recently, Sheng Wenjun appeared many times.

On August 26, 2024, Sheng Wenjun went to Xintai Village, Yuyang Town, and Luankou Village and Heping Village in Longwan Town.On August 27, Sheng Wenjun, Secretary of the Qianjiang Municipal Party Committee, had discussed with the chairman of Henan Jinshan Chemical Group.
