The 31st World University Student Summer Games will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. The Hong Kong delegation will send 142 athletes to participate, with the largest scale of previous.
According to the Hong Kong News Agency, the Hong Kong delegation will play 11 projects including archery, gymnastics, track and field, badminton, fencing, and swimming.
It is reported that the Hong Kong delegation is not only the largest in scale, but also the standards for athletes, such as fencing, table tennis, tennis, martial arts and other projects, are expected to compete for medals.
The Hong Kong delegation has won awards in previous Grand Games since 2009, and the gold medals have come from swimming projects.
The Grand Games will be held in Chengdu from July 28th to August 8th.
