The Hong Kong South China Morning Post Sunday (July 23) quoted sources reported that Ali will add more levels to extend the promotion time of middle -level employees, and cancel P9 and higher levels used for senior positions.

Alibaba, who owns the South China Morning Post, did not announce how many employees the company belongs to P9 and above, but two sources from Ali said that these employees account for 1%to 2%of the total number.
