According to Xinjiang Daily, the above regulations will be implemented on February 1 this year.The new regulations are clear that citizens have freedom of religious belief.Between faithful citizens and citizens who do not believe in, and citizens who believe in different religions, they should treat each other equally, respect each other, and live in harmony.
The new regulations require that any organization or individual may create contradictions and disputes between different religions, internal religions, and confidante citizens and unbelievable citizens.
The new regulations also point out that governments at or above the county level have made significant achievements in maintaining national unity, national unity, religious harmony, social stability, curbing extremes, resisting penetration, and stopping illegal religious activities.Religious colleges, places of religious activities, religious faculty and citizens shall be given commendation and rewards in accordance with relevant national and autonomous regions.
The regulations on religious affairs in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were reviewed and approved by the Ninth Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth National People's Congress of the Autonomous Region on July 16, 1994, and will be implemented on October 1 of the same year.
The Standing Committee of the Twelfth People's Congress of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was amended on November 28, 2014, and was amended as the regulations on religious affairs of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The new regulations announced this time were on the basis of the 2014 edition, the seventh meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th People's Congress of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on December 22 last year was revised.
