According to the official website of the Ministry of Transport of China, the rules of safety management of civilian driverless aircraft running for operation have been approved by the 29th ministerial meeting on December 15 last year.From time to time.

According to the rules, the civilian drone is divided into three types of operations: open, specific and approval categories in accordance with the principles of running scenes, operating risks, and classification management.

The risk of open category operation is small. If the operator meets the general operation requirements, the corresponding operating risk can be avoided; there is a certain risk of the operation of the specific class.The corresponding risk relief measures are formulated before; the approval risk is high. In addition to meeting all operating requirements, the operator should also formulate a complete risk relief measures before operation to control the corresponding operation risks.

The rules also require the operator's safety operations. Persons who control miniature and light civilian drones without obtaining the controller's license; howeverPersonnel should obtain a effective controller's license and carry the license with them during operation.

In addition, when controlling a special operation involving a specific high -risk, the civil drone should hold the corresponding category of the controller's license and the corresponding specific operational safety risk level.

Before the release of the above rules, the State Council of China and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China also issued a temporary regulations on the flight management of drone aircraft in May last year to regulate drone flight and related activities.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China also issued several provisions on the production management of civil drone production last December, requiring civilian driverless aircraft producers to set the unique product identification code for the civil drone aircraft produced by it.
