The recent crown disease epidemic has resurrected. In order to improve the local people, Macau officially announced that the number of epidemic conditions will be announced every day since Saturday (May 20).
The latest data released by the Macau Crown Disease Infection Response Coordination Center shows that Macau Friday (May 19) has added 551 crown disease confirmed cases, and more than 500 cases were added two days before.There are no cases of death among the diagnostic.
Coordination center said that data shows that Macau is at the peak period of crown disease infection, but the virus has not high pathogenicity, and the epidemic has not significantly affected the medical system and social operations.
Hong Kong, adjacent to Macau, has also appeared in a wave of crown disease recently.
According to Southern Network reports, Hong Kong Medical and Health Director Lu Chongmao said in an interview that the number of new crown diseases in Hong Kong will reach 10,000 daily crown diseases.
Fan Hongling, chairman of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, said on Saturday that 2,700 patients with crown disease were treated in public hospitals on Friday, but most of them were mild, with an average hospitalization time of only 4.8 days.
However, Fan Hongling pointed out that as the number of diagnosis may continue to rise, the Hong Kong Hospital Authority's emergency response command center has recently resumed 24 hours of operation to monitor the Hong Kong epidemic.
