The expansion of China's manufacturing activities has slowed slightly. In March, the manufacturing procurement manager index (PMI) was 51.9, a decrease of 0.7 percentage points from last month.
According to the website of the China National Bureau of Statistics on Friday (March 31), the PMI of China's manufacturing industry was 51.9 in March this year, higher than the critical point, and the manufacturing industry maintained an expansion.
From the perspective of the classification index, of the five classification indexs that constitute the PMI of the manufacturing industry, the production index, the new order index and the supplier delivery time index are higher than the critical point, and the raw material inventory index and the employee index are low.At the critical point, it shows that the decline in the inventory of the main raw materials in the manufacturing industry has expanded, and the level of manufacturing enterprises has also fallen.
This data slightly exceeds the 51.5 expectations of Reuters investigating economists.In February this year, the PMI of China's manufacturing industry recorded 52.6%, an increase of 2.5 percentage points from January, the highest level in the past ten years.
On the other hand, China's non -manufacturing business activity index in March was 58.2, an increase of 1.9 percentage points from the previous month. It expanded for the third consecutive month, reflecting the strong recovery of China's service industry this year.
