Serbian Prime Minister Ana Burnibic said that he hopes to finalize a free trade agreement with China by the end of the year.
According to Bloomberg News on Wednesday (March 8), Serbia is also committed to reaching a similar agreement with Egypt and the UAE.
As the EU's candidate for the EU, Zervia and the European Union have implemented zero -tariff trade for more than ten years.Once the EU officially qualified, Serbia has to give up bilateral trade agreements.
However, Burnabic said that because there is no exact date for joining the EU, the Cyclon government hopes to reach more trade agreements with other countries at the same time.
Burnabic said: "Chinese state -owned enterprises have become Serbia's largest exporters," but she also said that the European Union is still Serbia's largest investor and trade object.
Serbia officially expected to reach a free trade agreement with China last year.
