Chinese auto brands occupy one -third of the Russian market sales

AutoStat data of the Russian automotive market analysis agency shows that Chinese automobiles account for about 33.4%of the total sales of the Russian market, a record high.

According to the Russian satellite agency, Autostat data shows that from November 21st to 27th, 2022, a total of 3,561 Chinese cars were sold in the Russian market, which is about one -third of the total sales of the Russian car market.EssenceThe most popular Chinese car brands in the Russian market include Chery, Haval and Geely.

In the first 10 months of 2022, Chinese cars sold more than 12,000 vehicles in Russia, accounting for about 29.5%of the total sales; and in early 2022, the proportion had not exceeded 10%.
