China Resources Group's website issued a report on August 8:

The former director and general manager of China Resources Group, Comrade Qiao Shibo died on August 5, 2024 at the age of 69.

It is determined to hold a farewell ceremony at the farewell hall of Shenzhen Funeral Pavilion No. 1 on August 11, 2024.

Official website information shows that Qiao Shibo joined China Resources Group in 1992 and was the director of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.Qiao Shibo was the general manager (deputy ministerial level) of China Resources Group in January 2009.

Qiao Shibo has previously served as deputy general manager and general manager of the Human Resources Department of China Resources Group; general manager of China Resources Petrochemical (Group); chairman of the board of directors of China Resources Cement Holdings Co., Ltd.; Deputy Managing Director of China Resources Entrepreneurship;Vice chairman and CEO, etc., are familiar with China Resources business.

On January 7, 2016, Qiao Shibo issued retirement words and did not want to say goodbye, saying "my life has long been unknowingly integrated into the China Resources system."
