Lai Qingde said, thanked Taiwan Cai Yingwen and the ruling team to lay a deep foundation for the construction of Taiwan.
Lai Qingde's victory, marked that the Democratic Progressive Party successfully broke the "eight -year curse" of the regime in the eight years of administration, and it is likely to enter long -term governance.
Before the polls of January 3, Lai Qingde led other two -party candidates with a small advantage in most polls.
