Guo Zhihui did not make it clear that the Specific site selection of TSMC Japan's Third Factory said that it would be determined by TSMC for the final construction of the third plant, but Taiwan is willing to actively cooperate with Japan to cultivate the proficient engineer team.

The first factory of TSMC Kumamoto Prefecture plans to start mass production before the end of this year, and Kumamoto Second Factory strives to put into production in 2027.The Japanese government decided to provide subsidies of up to 476 billion yen (approximately $ 4.2 billion) for TSMC Kumamoto Factory, and provided an additional 732 billion yen subsidy for Kumamoto Second Factory.
