The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government has resumed the National Affairs Study Course in the mainland. The first batch of 23 heads of civil servants departed to Beijing on Tuesday (May 30) to participate in a seven -day course.
According to the Sing Tao Daily, the students will first study at the National Academy of Administration to understand the policies and key strategies of governing the country, and then go to Shanghai to understand the modern history and culture of the country and the latest local development.
The head and deputy head of the training course were Liang Zhongxian, the director of the communication affairs office of the Communications Administration, and the deputy director (management) of the Police Department (management).Other students are senior civil servants of the third or above of the head of salary level., Fire Department, Health Department, Housing Department, Entry Department, Government News Office, Department of Law, Kangle and Cultural Affairs Department, Planning Department, Industrial Trade Agency, Social Welfare Department, Treasury Department and Lands Administration Agency, as well as the management of the General AdministrationICAC.
Yang He Beiyin, director of the Hong Kong Civil Service Bureau, met with them before the students went to Beijing before going to Beijing. She said that the study class was the first chief -level leader of Hong Kong and the mainland after the restoration of the full customs clearance.The college specially set up by personnel is meaningful.She hopes that the course can deepen the students' understanding of the system and development of the mainland, understand the social and economic situation of the mainland, and fully grasp the country's strategy and the relationship with Hong Kong.The official will continue to hold courses for civil servants at all levels in Hong Kong and the mainland, so that colleagues will understand the national conditions in depth, in order to cooperate with the SAR government to actively integrate into the overall national development situation.
The Hong Kong Civil Service College currently co -organizes the national affairs study courses in joint civil servants with the nine mainland colleges, namely the National Academy of Administration, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Diplomacy College, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, WuhanUniversities, Jinan University, and Sun Yat -sen University, including classroom learning and field inspections, cover the Chinese Constitution and Basic Law, maintain national security and the latest national policies and development.
