Three Hong Kong free TV show service licenses and two sound broadcast licensed institutions will be broadcast for no less than 30 minutes of national education related programs every week.

According to the Hong Kong Sakai News Agency, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced on Tuesday (February 14) that the Chief Executive and the Executive Council have accepted the above suggestions made by the Communications Administration.

In the relevant suggestions of free TV licenses, in addition to the current number of time of current affairs programs, the licensed institution must also play an additional 30 minutes of the weekly on the "current affairs program" category.National identity and correct understanding of the Hong Kong National Security Law; the sound broadcasting license also plays for at least 30 minutes on one or more channels about national education, national identity, and correct understanding of the Hong Kong National Security Law on one or more channels.

The main suggestions of the Communications Bureau accepted by the Chief Executive and the Administrative Council also include the investment plan that accepts three free TV licensed institutions licenses for the remaining 6 years.The new commitment of independent local production programs; continuing the "youth show" as an independent specified playback program category, and the number of time to play such programs a week must be doubled.
