Hong Kong Standard Chartered Marathon Sunday (February 12) ended.The Hong Kong Athletics Federation predicts that the next Standard Chartered Marathon will also be held on November 19 this year.

Wu Yuhao, the executive director of the Hong Kong Athletics Federation, said on the radio program on Monday that there are 37,000 participating places in this Standard Chartered Marathon, with more than 90 %, which has always been the highest.

He said that the average marathon attended by the epidemic was about 85 %. It is unexpectedly that the innovation of this event at a high attendance rate is unexpected.He described the first large -scale event after relaxation of epidemic prevention measures. The interest of runners has increased interest, and the overall atmosphere is also lively.

Wu Yuhao also mentioned that the weather was humid on the day of the event and had an impact on the performance and physical condition. The conference had reminded the runners before the game, but most of them could complete the game smoothly.

The Hong Kong Hospital Administration reported that as of 2 pm on Sunday (February 12), a total of 34 marathon runners were sent to the hospital, including 23 men and 11 women.Among them, five of them were seriously ill, 16 were stable, and 13 were discharged.

In addition, Wu Yuhao predicts that the next Standard Chartered Marathon will be held on November 19 this year. It will discuss the implementation of the date and scale of the event with the government department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
