As Hong Kong strives to develop into the capital of Asian digital assets, the Hong Kong government is promoting the first digital green bond issuance.
Bloomberg quoted people familiar with the matter and revealed that Hong Kong will set the final price of the 365 -day tokenized green notes at 4.05%of the yield, and plans to raise 800 million Hong Kong dollars (about S $ 136 million).
Digital bonds can bypass the liquidation system with the help of the blockchain -driven platform, thereby speeding up settlement and paid payment.
A person familiar with the matter also said that the proposed bill issuance of Hong Kong will use the digital asset platform developed by Goldman Sachs Group.
