The Chinese stock market continued to decline on Thursday (January 18), of which the Shanghai Stock Exchange Index fell 2800 points, down to a new low since April 2020, and about 4,800 stocks in Shanghai and Shenzhen fell.

Comprehensive news reports in China Sina Finance, Southern Finance and Interface, hotels and catering, attractions and tourism and retail sectors have fallen first.

As of press time (at 11:10 am), the Shanghai Index fell 2.32%to 2766.74 points, the Shenzhen Index fell 1.68%, at 8607.84 points, the GEM index fell 0.92%to 1684.05 points.
