Comprehensive Reuters, Yomiuri News, and Japan Times reported that the Japanese government spokesman Matsuno Matsuna Matsno revealed the above news on Wednesday (July 19).

Reports quoted sources familiar with Japan -China relations, saying that this move in China is regarded as a measure for Japanese plans to discharge Fukushima nuclear treatment water into the sea.

It is reported that China conducts comprehensive radiation testing of imported Japanese aquatic products in front of Japan's plan to spread the nuclear treatment of the damaged Fukushima first nuclear power plant.

China and Japan have previously confronted multiple rounds on nuclear treatment water.After the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released the comprehensive assessment report of the Fukushima nuclear wastewater disposal in Japan on July 4, Japan plans to discharge nuclear treatment water as soon as August.

Wang Wenbin, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, said on July 7th that the report was rushed to be promulgated.
