China surpasses Japan to become the worlds largest car exporter

In 2021, my country's car export accounted for 7.7%of the total car sales, an increase of 3.7 percentage points year -on -year.This proportion was further increased to 11.6%in 2022, and in the first quarter of this year, it was as high as 17.6%.

The General Administration of Customs shows that in the first quarter of this year, my country ’s new energy vehicle exports were 248,000, a year -on -year increase of 1.1 times, accounting for 23.2%of the total exports of vehicles.Last year, the above proportion was 21.9%.

In April, among the top ten companies in the export of vehicles, SAIC Group is still ranked first, with an export volume of 82,000 units, an increase of 1.6 times year -on -year, accounting for 21.8%of my country's total export volume of automobiles.Since last year, BYD, which accelerated the development of overseas markets, exported exports year -on -year was the most significant. The export volume in April reached 15,000 units, an increase of 15.5 times year -on -year.
