Thai Foreign Minister Donpramudwinai said that Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the Asia -Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Bangkok next month.
According to Bloomberg, Dunburuwa said at a press conference held in Bangkok on Monday (October 31) that as one of the special guests of the Thai government, Xi Jinping has confirmed that he will visit Thailand.
He said that Russian President Putin has not yet confirmed to the Thai government whether to attend the APEC summit, and the Thai government is still waiting for Putin's reply; the United States will send Vice President Harris to attend the summit.
APEC Summit will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 18th to 19th, followed by the G20 summit at Bali Island from November 15th to 16th.Xi Jinping is expected to attend the G20 summit and APEC summit in November, and visit Indonesia and Thailand in succession.
Xi Jinping launched the first visit to the country since January, September 14th to 16th this year, visited Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit.
APEC is the highest -level and most wide -range economic cooperation mechanism in the Asia -Pacific region. APEC members include 21 economies including the United States, China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taipei, and Taipei.At present, APEC leaders who have attended the summit include the New Zealand Prime Minister Adon and Philippine President Markus.
