The British government will remove the last period of Huawei's equipment and services in the core network function, from the target on January 28, 2023 to December 31.
According to Reuters, the British government announced the above decision after Thursday (October 13) after negotiating with Huawei and British telecommunications operators.
The British government said that the last period of removing all Huawei devices from the British 5G network by the end of 2027 remains unchanged.
In addition, Huawei must not exceed 35%of the limitation of the full fiber access network, and it has also been postponed for three months, and it is not implemented until October 31, 2023.
Under the pressure of the United States, Britain decided to ban Huawei and other suppliers who are considered high -risk to enter the British 5G network in 2020.
This ban was written in the law last year, requiring operators such as British Telecom, Vodafone, and Hutchison to turn to equipment using other suppliers, and remove Huawei equipment that has been installed in its network.
In addition, the news website AXIOS quoted sources on Thursday that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) plans to prohibit the sale of any Huawei and ZTE communication equipment in the United States on the grounds of national security.
