(Beijing Comprehensive News) Zhu Jun, a well -known host of China CCTV, was sentenced to the second instance of the sex harassment case, rejected the plaintiff Zhou Xiaoxuan's appeal request, and maintained Zhu Jun's original sentence.
The Beijing First Intermediate Court reported on the official Weibo that the court was tried on Wednesday (August 10) and was sentenced to court and pronounced it in court.
The report said that the court heard that the evidence submitted by the appellant Zhou Xiaoxuan was not enough to prove that Zhu Jun had performed sexual harassment and the appeal request could not be established.
The report said: "The judgment of the first instance determines that the facts are clear and the applicable law is correct.
Zhou Xiaoxuan, who is named "Xianzi" in July 2018, posted on a WeChat friend circle that she was harassed by Zhu Jun during CCTV in 2014.The article was forwarded by Xu Chao, who was named her friend and the net name "Classmate of Mai Ying" to Weibo. Although the post was blocked after a few hours, it still caused a storm in public opinion in China.
Zhu Jun then denied the allegations and sued Zhou Xiaoxuan and Xu Chao to damage his reputation.
Zhou Xiaoxuan officially reported Zhu Jun in October 2018. The Beijing Haidian Court determined in September 2021. The evidence submitted by Zhou Xiaoxuan was not enough to prove that Zhu Jun's claim on his sexual harassment was rejected in the first instance.
