The Seventh Fleet in the United States reported that the Roseford's destroyer entered the South China Sea today (17th) and conducted a "FreeDom of Navigation" operation in the Nansha Islands waters.

The notification pointed out that the Roseford showed the right and freedom of sailing in the Nansha Islands in the situation of international law.

According to Reuters, this is the third time the U.S. Navy sent warships to enter the South China Sea this month.
