(Morning News) Reuters quoted three insidiouss on Tuesday (January 18) that the Bayeng government is reviewing the cloud business of Alibaba, the Chinese e -commerce giant Alibaba to determine whether it constitutes risks to US national security.
The United States is increasing the censorship of business exchanges between Chinese technology companies and American companies.
Reported that the investigation of the US authorities focuses on how Alibaba stores data from US customers, including their personal information and intellectual property rights, and whether the Chinese government can access these data.
One of the people familiar with the matter said that another concern of the United States is that Beijing may interfere with American users' access to the information stored in Alibaba Cloud.
The U.S. regulatory agency may eventually choose to force Alibaba to take measures to reduce the risks brought by its cloud business, or completely prohibit Americans at home and abroad from using the service.
Before the opening on Tuesday, Alibaba's U.S. -listed stocks once fell nearly 3%, and the final decline was slightly higher than 1%.
