Chinese battery material manufacturer Zhongwei New Materials Co., Ltd. plans to build a battery material factory worth $ 10 billion (S $ 13.251 billion) in Indonesia.

According to Reuters on Wednesday (October 30), the Indonesian director Magdalena Veronika of Zhongwei said on the same day that the $ 10 billion investment will be completed within 10 to 15 years.The company is looking for a suitable place for the factory.

Wirenica said that the project has been awarded the status of a national strategic project by the Indonesian government, and added that the project requires 3,000 to 3,000 hectares of land.
