The Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom criticized the British Congress delegation to visit Taiwan and warned any behavior that harmed the interests of China, which will be strongly countered by mainland China.
The Embassy on Sunday (March 19) said on the official website that the delegation's visit to Taiwan was a blatant violation of a Chinese principle, rudely interfered in China's internal affairs, and strongly condemned mainland China.
A spokesman for the embassy said: "The Chinese side urges the British side to abide by the basic criteria of international relations and stops any acts that violate a Chinese principle and interfere with the Chinese internal affairs."
It was announced that a member of the parliament led by Bob Stewart visited Taiwan from March 19th to 24th.They will meet with Tsai Ing -wen while visiting Taiwan.
