Since the outbreak of collective violence in Myanmar in 2012, the problem of being forced to escape from the homeland has received a lot of attention.Most of the reports focused on the reasons for escaping and the conditions required for repatriation, especially the new wave of escape since August 2017.In addition, after Thailand discovered a large number of Rayingian's remains in 2015, the international media began to connect the Doharine's dilemma with the population smuggling.
Recently, a new statement has appeared to depict how criminal groups and population smuggling gangs use the chaos and poverty in the Bangladesh and the Bangladesh's refugee camps. The Rohingya women and children are transported to carry out sexual exploitation and labor exploitation.
We put forward the characteristics, origin and impact of this latest statement (origin) on public and international policies in this article.When analyzing, we raised some questions: What kind of threats of population smuggling to the displaced Rohingyan people who constitute them?How many population smuggling cases have occurred and what are these cases?Should we pay attention to the severity of this phenomenon?
Considering the impact on public opinion and policies, we conducted a critical analysis of the reports of trafficking in Bangladesh's trafficking of Rohingya refugees in order to clarify this sensitive topic more clearly.
Sexual trafficking statement and origin
The essence of sexual trafficking is that the Rohingya women and children are at the time of escaping Myanmar and living in Bangladesh's refugee camps.
We traced back to the two countries of the two countries, two countries published from September 2017 to July 2018, three non -governmental organization reports, two UN press releases, and 2018 "American Population Trafficking Report".This statement appears on international media.This statement seems to come from multiple sources. The United Nations, Bangladesh International Immigration Organization and BBC play an important role in the construction of the statement.
The first example of the complete trafficking statement appeared on October 17, 2017, in an article entitled "Sex Hunter and Popular Smuggling Trafficking Aiming at the Rohingya Refugee Camp of Bangladica".The United Nations coordinator in Bangladesh set a tone in this article, saying that And "reported that the risks faced by the escape women and girls are rape, population smuggling, and sexuality and living with Andrdquo;Organizational representatives echoed this concern, including the Bangladesh Association of Children and the International Care Association (Care), and the United Nations Children's Foundation.
The International Immigration Organization repeatedly described this statement in a press release on November 14, 2017, emphasizing that "desperate men, women, and children were deceived by false paid work and engaged in various industries, including fishing, small business, andBegging, girls are engaged in family helper Andrdquo;. In addition, the organization said that many Rohingya was banned and exploited, and was forced to get married and prostitution in some cases.
This information subsequently passed the media, including ASIA ONE, to spread, and before mid -November 2017, it triggered further anxiety about the troublesome of the Lohevans.In the next few months, the Bangladesh International Immigration Organization reiterated that "Many girls and family are scattered, and many people told them that they would help them, and then these girls disappeared Andrdquo;
The third important supplement to this statement is the participation of the Broadcasting Corporation's report on March 20, 2018; Andmdash; the participation of online gangsters and pedophiles.The reporter described the 14 -year -old girl Anwara and Masuda after being traded, and a local charity organization finally saved them.AnWara was abducted and raped, Masuda was raped by the Burmese army, forced to leave Myanmar, dispersed from his family, and was tricked by a false work of a smuggling of a Rohingya population, but was arranged to engage in sexual transactions.The report pointed out that the Rohingya women and children were traded to the Kyja Port of Bangladesh and Dakaka, Nepal's Kathmandu and Kolkata in India. The local online gangsters arranged women to provide sex services for local and foreign men, including pedophiles.Essence
Subsequently, the aid and human rights organizations and media institutions widened this report, emphasizing that Andrdquo, which "Bangladesh's terrible humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh's terrible humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh, especially criminal groups" arranged sex services for foreigners to provide sex services for foreigners.Andrdquo; problem.Two reporters of the US Public Broadcasting and Television Corporation (PBS) conducted another investigation and strengthened the statement in the report, reporting that "foreigners, whites, Americans, Europeans Andrdquo; is sex hunters. This eventually led the US State Department to downgrade Myanmar to Andrdquo; this is the worst level and may face US economic sanctions in the "third -level observation list Andrdquo."The Rohingya refugees who failed to protect the labor and sexual exploitation. Bangladesh is still on the "second -level observation list Andrdquo; some reason is that the Rohingya women are traded from the refugee camp to engage in sexual transactions.
Discretion of Rohingya sexual trafficking statement
The Lauronian trafficking statement reminds us to pay attention to the real risks facing the disadvantaged groups.However, the global policy of the rapid rise of sexual trafficking statements has risen, spread, and included in the state of smuggling, and also raises uneasy problems.How many population smuggling cases have occurred, and what are the details of these cases?
Judging from the review materials, the threat of sexual trafficking seems to be blurred and elusive.We found that nine incidents briefly described different trajectories and scenarios that caused kidnapping, forced marriage, sexual abuse and forced or voluntary prostitution, but there is no data to indicate the scale of population smuggling, forced or voluntarily engaged in sexual transactions inside and outside the refugee camp, or voluntarily engaged in sexual transactions.The number of women has no evidence to indicate the structure and operating model of the criminal network.International immigration organizations say that population smuggling activities are generally existed in Cox ’s Bazar, but it does not provide any data to support the organization's statement about smuggling gangs and sexual assault.Conversely, assisting experts and reporters use adverb or Conditional Tense to depict events, such as AND "investigation found that ANDLSQUO, who lives in Bangladesh's refugee camps;Try to force them to enter Andrdquo; and Andrsquo; Andrsquo; Andrsquo; Andrdquo; Andrdquo; Andrdquo;
In addition, what we see is a general report that the victims of population smuggling are very personal and emotional experience, such as Masuda mentioned by the Broadcasting Corporation.Masuda's experience is a tragedy, but experience prejudice and statement metaphors make readers unable to evaluate the severity and severity of population smuggling threats.Is the population smuggling, sex trading customers and pedophiles really associated?Are there dozens, hundreds, or thousands of Rohingya women and children being trafficking?In other words, are we facing anecdotes or systemic issues?
In addition, there are three key roles in Rohingya's trafficking statements: Andrdquo; and "The victim Andrdquo; and Andrdquo; and the chaos in the humanitarian crisis of the" rescueman Andrdquo;Human rights struggle. According to rescue experts and reporters, this situation will cause trauma and despair, which will lead to the exploitation of smuggling traders in the non -moral population.
Andrdquo; considered: The Myanmar military, Andrd, "accused of rape and sexual abuse as weapons andrdquo; in violent activities for the Luxia Muslim minority minorities; the opportunity -oriented population smuggle, and"Know the target target, hunting the most vulnerable person Andrdquo; local and foreign hunters, using desperate women and children, and "organizes organizational places to arrange minor refugees online and offline to engage in prostitution activities Andrdquo;
Regarding whether there is a complete structure of criminal groups, the question responsible for the smuggling activities of complex population has been questioned.On the contrary, there are indeed a group of recruiters, intermediaries, carriers, debtors, documents forgery and employers, and provide different ones for immigrants.Is it really related to Yishen and pedophilia?Are there dozens, hundreds, or thousands of Rohingya women and children being trafficking?In other words, are we facing anecdotes or systemic issues?

Regarding whether there is a complete structure of criminal groups, the question responsible for the smuggling activities of complex population has been questioned.On the contrary, there are indeed a group of recruiters, intermediaries, carriers, debtors, documents forgery and employers to provide different services for immigrants.Some people provide free services for selfless reasons, some people collect reasonable fees for their services, while others abuse their power to obtain considerable profits and control.
Andrdquo; is the Rohingya women and children who live in the refugee camp. It is reported that after facing sexual violence and physical violence, and the homeland being destroyed and leaving the disasters, they are creative and despair.A fragile group, so it is easy to become the goal of smuggling of population. Although some young women are seduced and abused, others use sexual transactions as a survival means, especially Andrdquo; "the most desperate and all".Those reports did not distinguish between sexual exploitation and sexual work for survival.According to the definition, the former involves deception, trafficking and exploitation, and the latter refers to the choice of women (and men) to engage in this kind of work in a more or less restricted environment, which is a legitimate labor work.These reports confused compulsive trafficking with voluntary work.
In addition, this statement has reduced Rohingya women and children into naive, helpless, physical and mental creation, and mermaid, and need to save and aid.In this sexual trafficking statement, the sound of women's transport women was replaced by reporters' voices.They seem to be a typical victim who has no power and no intermediary.However, whether it is a sex slave or a sex worker, the reality faced by sexual service providers is often mixed with compulsory and consent, as well as the road of exploitation and intermediary.
Andrdquo; Playing Educational Character
Andrdquo; the representatives of the International Immigration Organization, the United Nations Refugee Agency and other institutions, as well as non -governmental organizations such as the International Care Association and Save Children's Organization. These organizations provide assistance to refugees to formulate prevention and protection measures to restrict the smuggling of the population, and and also restrict the smuggling of the population.Andrdquo; Andrdquo; Andrdquo; Andrdquo;Other Andrdquo; Rapid Action Battalion, including smuggling and saving victims (a top police unit in Bangladesh), a reporter, a reporter in danger of life, a reporter, a reporter who listened to "Lost Solka AsiaThe artist of human trauma and recovery story, Andrdquo; and Denmark Prime Minister who visited the situation in the camp in the Laurien Asian refugee camp.These Andrdquo; play different roles in the Rohingya's sexual trafficking statement, but they all have a common human rights agenda, facing many challenges in eliminating population smuggling.
This view has positioned global privileges and agencies as Andrsquo; and Andlsquo; Educational andLSQUO; Andrsquo; low -level Andrsquo; unfortunate Andrsquo; and Andlsquo; Wait for Andrsquo; the role of the crowd andrdquo;. In fact, theseParticipants are one of the compositions of more broad international political organizations. These international political organizations are partly created by media economics, implement policies, distribute funds, and implement certain human rights and economic frameworks.Mastering resources and political influence, this statement makes them in a position with power. They understand the problem of population smuggling and surpass the mute Rohingya.
In daily life, we are surrounded by countless statements, which can help us understand reality.The statement is a tool for telling the story to simplify the complicated and contradictory forces in the world, but it also magnifies the emotional connotation of the incident.The statement is selective in terms of expression, and the power of the statement comes from its way of building a reality.The statement can come from anecdotes, but there will be no detailed facts, verified data and structural analysis.Therefore, statement may help sell newspapers, raise awareness and raise funds, but it does not help expand and deepen our understanding of a certain subject, or formulate intervention plans and policies.
This is why we have a brief analysis of statements surrounding Soloro's women and children.The Rohingya is trafficking and facing labor and sexual exploitation, which has become a problem for civic society and the US State Department to pay attention to.However, the plan and international policies formulated on this issue are affected by statement rather than objective data.
This has a real impact on people who have been traded, as well as Myanmar and Bangladesh.Therefore, we believe that the best way to ensure the interests of Solo -Laersea is to collect and analyze solid evidence and conduct in -depth discussions, rather than collecting and disseminated rumors and anecdotes.
