Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba Group, has been a honorary professor at the University of Hong Kong.
According to the official website of the Hong Kong University, Ma Yun joined the University of Economic Management.Ma Yun awarded his Ph.D. in Honorary Social Sciences in 2018.
According to the Hong Kong South China Morning Post on Friday (April 21), the School of Economics and Management of the University of Hong Kong was reported that Ma Yun's honorary professor's term has begun on April 1, up to three years, until March 2026.
People familiar with the matter told the South China Morning Post that Ma Yun will focus on the research work in finance, agriculture, and entrepreneurship and innovation with teachers from the University of Hong Kong, and there will be no public lectures or speech arrangements.
The Ma Yun Public Welfare Foundation also confirmed in the statement that Ma Yun was invited to be an honorary professor of the University of Hong Kong.
