The Chinese ambassador to Australia, Xiao Qian in Canberra, said that China does not seek to establish a military strategy in the Pacific region. Australia does not need to be anxious about the increasing connection between China and the Pacific Island country.
According to Reuters on Wednesday (January 17), Xiao Qian said that the state -owned interests of the Pacific Island established political relations with China, sold products to the Chinese market, and obtained China in infrastructure and social order in ChinaHelp.
He said that China is not seeking military strategy and added that Australia does not need to be anxious about the increasing relationship between China and the Pacific Island country.
Xiao Qian also said that China and Australia should improve their defense relationships, such as military dialogue, joint exercises and training.
