This is Shen Ying's first visit to China this year.Shen Ying's last visit to China was December last year. At that time, she followed the deputy prime minister and the Minister of Finance Huang Xuncai to attend the meeting of the New China Bilateral Cooperation Committee (JCBC) meeting.

According to the statement, Shen Ying met with Shen Xiaoming, Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China during his statement, and met with Wu Guiying, a member of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China.The two sides reiterated the friendly relations between Singapore and Hunan, and also noticed that Singapore's strong influence in the fields of logistics, infrastructure development, sustainable development and education in Hunan companies.
