China National Space Administration on Monday (October 2) issued the Chang'e -8 international cooperation opportunity announcement, allowing countries and international organizations to join.
According to the China News Agency, the Aerospace Bureau issued the above announcement during the International Aerospace Conference.China's lunar exploration project is facing the international community, and the Chang'e -8 task international cooperation opportunities are opened. Welcome countries and international organizations to join, carry out task -level, system -level, and single -level cooperation to jointly achieve more major original scientific discovery.
Chang'e -8's mission is planned to be launched around 2028. It will carry out the exploration and research of multi -physical fields and regional geological profiles in the moon, moon -based observations and research, moon in situ sample analysis and resource in situUsing the experiment and research of the small -scale closed land ecosystem of the moon surface environment, the basic type of the moon scientific research station will be formed with Chang'e -7 mission and other tasks.
International cooperation with Chang'e 8 will give priority to the mission -level cooperation with interaction and joint detection, and the moon surface robot with basic operation capabilities of the moon, as well as other complementary scientific loads and scientific innovationStrong cooperation project.
It is reported that the deadline for the application for the international cooperation project intention is December 31, 2023. It is planned to complete the preliminary selection in April 2024. The final selection was completed in September to confirm the cooperation project.
