China Electric Planning and Design Institute reports that China ’s electricity will still maintain rigid growth in the next three years, and it is expected that the total social electricity consumption will reach 9.8 trillion to 10.1 trillion kWh in 2025.
According to the Economic Daily (September 24), the China Electric Power Planning and Design Court released the China Electric Power Development Report 2023 earlier this month.
The report shows that China's power demand has increased steadily in 2022, and the total electricity consumption of the whole society reached 8.6 trillion kWh, a year -on -year increase of 3.6%.The power structure continues to optimize, and maintains the trend of transfers from the electrical electricity of the secondary production to the three industries, and the living electricity transfer trend of residents.
In terms of power generation, as of the end of 2022, the total capacity of China's power generation installed capacity reached 2.56 billion kilowatts, an increase of 7.8%year -on -year; the national power generation volume was 8.7 trillion kWh, a year -on -year increase of 3.6%.
The report predicts that from 2024 to 2025, the pressure of China's power supply guarantee is still high. The extreme climate is significantly pushing a high power load. Combining the current power supply and power grid engineering progress, it is expected that there are 14 areas of power supply and demand in 2024.
Rao Jianye, deputy dean of the Clean Energy Research Institute of Electricity and Design, said that accelerating the construction of a new energy system for planning and construction is the primary task of the current energy industry.
He said that in the future, the new power system that accelerates the construction of clean and low -carbon, safe, economically efficient, supply and demand collaborative, flexible and intelligent, will be the top priority of China's construction of a new energy system.
