According to the interface news report, Li Ke said, "In principle, the cars we provide in Mexico will come from China, but if the demand is large in the future, we will consider producing in Mexico."
Li Ke also said that several major advantages in Mexico have attracted it to the electric vehicle market, including population and economic growth, and the country's cities in clean transportation.
On September 20, local time, BYD launched an electric car "dolphin" in Mexico. It is expected that 20,000 to 30,000 units will be sold in the next 12 months.Li Ke said that BYD will launch another five models in Mexico next year.
